Alaybey Mosque
Overview
This building, built by Alaybeyzade İbrahim Bey in 1817, is one of the last period buildings of the city. The minaret of the mosque, covered with a wooden dome, is located in the east, unlike other Tire mosques. The mosque is actually part of a social complex and contains a 6-room madrasah, but the madrasah has not survived to the present day.
